Vandana Nanda has a B.F.A , a degree in Illustration and a degree in Graphic Designing. She started drawing & sketching at a very young age and won several awards in painting competitions in school and college. She followed in her artist-mother’s footsteps and pursued her passion of sketching and painting. Vandana gained extensive experience in different mediums, painting several seascapes, landscapes, florals, abstracts and portraits under the guidance of an accomplished Art teacher, a graduate from the JJ School of Arts, for 5 years. She is diligent and enthusiastic about her art work, spending countless hours in her art studio, bringing her imaginative ideas to life.

After moving to US she honed her skills in Digital Fine Arts including the utilization of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Dreamweaver and Microsoft Office. She has been teaching Art lessons to students aging from 8yrs-adults for almost 11 years. She is well versed in traditional methods of art like sketching, printmaking, water colors, oil painting and also more modern techniques like collage, mixed media and acrylic painting.

Vandana also took several courses in film and digital photography; her background in fine arts helps her to create artistic shots from bold angles. She is also a professional photographer, and her work may be viewed at vxpressionsphotography.com
